Résumé: 
Le présent article analyse la structuration narrative, le cadre spatio-temporel et les thèmes abordésdans le roman Sans tam-tam de Henri LOPES, écrivain congolais.Ledit roman raconte l’histoire de Gatsé, un enseignant qui refuse de quitterson village pour occuper un poste de Diplomate en Europe. Gatsécherche ainsi à préserver son enracinement culturel et son identité, alors que son amitente de le convaincre de partir. L’examen du cadre spatio-temporel révèle que la ville est un espace dysphorique, par opposition à la campagne qui est présentée comme unespace euphorique. La thématique met en reliefla souffrance sous la colonisation, la déceptionface à l’indépendance et la recherche d’identité. Enfin,l’étude de l’intertextualité montre que LOPES intègre des références à d’autres textes et auteursdans son roman, créant ainsi un réseau de significations complexe.

Abstract
This article analyzes the narrative structure, the spatio-temporal framework, and the themes addressed in the novel Sans tam-tam by Henri Lopes, a Congolese writer. The novel tells the story of Gatsé, a teacher who refuses to leave his village to take up a diplomatic position in Europe. Gatsé thus seeks to preserve his cultural and temporal rootedness. However, the narrative perspective gradually reveals that the city is a space of conviction from the outset. The examination of the spatio-temporal framework shows that the city is depicted as a euphoric space. The central theme revolves around the opposition between the countryside and the city, colonization, disillusionment in the face of independence, and the search for identity. Intertextuality demonstrates that Lopes integrates references to other texts and authors into his novel, thereby creating a network of complex meanings.
